The mountaineer.

I'm sitting at the car repair shop, I'm just getting an inspection, and saw the mountaineer! So naturally I drew him. And did a cloth study of his knee. I would like to do more cloth. I'm not good at it and need to get better

Intrepid Sale!

Some of you may know from some other means of communication that I have made my second art sale of the year! My first was a watercolor to a relative and it counts but it was really exciting to actually have my school purchase one of my pieces to hang on campus. I submitted 4 pieces to the CPCC student art show earlier this year and my piece "Breaking Boundaries" was accepted. one of the other pieces I entered was Intrepid, and while the people in charge of the show thought it didnt fit the show they still decided to purchase the piece from me. It will be hanging somewhere in the Levine Campus at CPCC not sure yet, although I do have some art classes there this fall so Im sure Ill see it.

Delays Delays...

It's been quite some time since my last post. I've been working on several time intensive projects and so I havent had time to write about them. But im going to attempt to catch up this week.

Im a little behind in Sketch-a-Day, which is defined as a sketch that represents each day not nessicarily drawing that sketch on that day, although if it makes you feel better I have actually be drawing everyday so there you go.

I love pen because its unforgiving, if you mess up you have to make it work. and the pens I use are really cool cause you can actually go light and dark with them giving some range and depth to a drawing
